According to Forever Fantasy, the latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that FF Versus XIII is now on hold, pending completion of work on FFXIII itself.
The Versus team has now been moved onto Final Fantasy XIII, which is now described as a “top priority”. No shit.
The magazine has also revealed that we expect big things from Square Enix at TGS in September.

Not even hazy, half-arsed release dates yet, never mind ‘clear’ ones. I’m thinking Q2 ‘09 for Japan, maybe Q4 ‘09 for the US, whothefuckknows for Europe.

Q2 2010 if past form is anything to go by, it usually takes them about 3~6 months. But then they have been getting better recently. Fuck knows is probably the most accurate answer.
