Blezinski: Gears of War female narrator revealed in Gears 2

While talking about the Gears of War 2 storyline with Danish site Gamereactor, Gears of War 2 producer Cliff Blezinski said that the identity of the series' female narrator will be revealed in Gears of War 2.

When asked whether the story for Gears of War 2 would focus on Marcus Fenix, Cliff replied:

"It is without doubt the story of Marcus but at the same time it's a story about the human race with its back to the wall," said Blezinski, translated from Danish by VG247.

"And in the sequel it's a lot about Dom and the two new characters Tai and Dizzy. There's also loads of back story about the Pendulum Wars, Jacinto etc."

"And what about that voice you hear in the trailers?" he said. "Those kinds of things are answered in 2."

We're hyped. Gears of War 2 is out later this year.
