Earlier this evening the existence of Xbox Live “Avatars” was apparently leaked through a research firm called Intellisponse. Through the site’s backend a heap of details of Forza 3 have also been found, outlining potential pricing “scenarios”, a full spec of the game itself, plans for DLC and details of a potential collector’s edition.

The overview of the game says it will include over 100 tracks and 400 cars, a slew of new race modes and will be sold as a two-disc set.

Eight “scenarios” for pricing were listed on the site, four for the US and four for the UK.

You can find images of all the information after the link.

Did you take a picture of your screen with a camera? Surely you could have just printscreened?

You can’t even C&P URLs of the site. The only other way was to type everything out. I didn’t have time, tbh.

    “Assume”, “Imagine”

Since this is market research, and nothing is confirmed, I expect a lot of people to say “no” to a two disc racing game.

    It is market research, yeah.

Although that first image doesn’t sound like “guesswork”.

I am so Buying this. For Sure.

Would be awesome to see point to point races. =)

I really hope they allow us to install and just use one disc though.

That two-disc thing’s going to blow up. It’ll be fanboy super-bait.

    Lap 3 - insert disc two! :-D

It’s a silly thing to bitch about, surely? Gran Turismo 2 was on two discs, wasn’t it?

  10. morriss said:

They’ll ditch it. I mean, how will it work anyway unless MS start doing installs….

  11. Blerk said:

Well… easily, surely? Boot up with either disc - half the tracks and cars on one disc, half on the other. Switch at the menu if you want something from the other disc. No?

Or maybe certain classes of car on each disc. Circuits on one disc, rally tracks on the other. There are lots of ways it could work.

  12. morriss said:

Right. I was thinking more like a “career mode” on one disc and multiplayer on the other.

    Still sounds weird to me.

  13. patlike said:

    lol

    That was quick :)

The car geometry, textures and audio would have to be on both discs. The tracks spread across the discs, so I expect these tracks to be super awesomely detailed. The tracks will probably be geographically split so that during the career mode you wont have to swap very often at all.

Pat: Much quicker than that… was up within about 5 mins of the news last night. :p

Ah. I was drowning in photos and Wii band game videos :D
