patlike: Like I said in the other thread… MS has dropped the 360 £25 in the US since launch. They’ve still got a lot to play with but they’re clearly focussed on profit rather than marketshare.

Yep. It’s looking a bit shaky for MS, I reckon. I think Blerk’s right about a price cut. They need to do something sharpish, or E3′s going to be all eyes on them to make some kind of mental move to save the day.

Yeah, it’s clear that the PS3 is going to get a significant bump next month. 80gb return should do that on its own.

PS3 all the way in June. I reckon that PS3 bump was off the back of GTA, and MGS just came out. I reckon 360′s going to be looking very timid this time next month.

Genuine LOL at Patcher getting it wrong again. I’m sure he’ll come out with a statement saying something along the lines of.. “we underestimated the long tail appeal of GTA4 on PS3… ” but it’s all just hot air.

I think in future, analysts predictions really should be discounted as news of any sort.
