Entire CoD: World at War OXM article scanned
What do editors think when they see this stuff? The entire Call of Duty: World at War cover article from this month’s UK OXM is available here.
For the record, the game’s on the cover of gamesTM, OXM and Play in the UK this month. PCZone’s carrying it as well, but the mag’s not doing a cover, apparently.

NO UAV’S!?!??!?!??!?!
NO CHOPPERS!?!?!??!?!
WHAT A STUPID IDEA!!!!!!!!!!
This game is an absolute disaster even before it’s been released!
Going back to WWII is such a ridiculous idea, it’s barely believable!
Just read any of the comments sections on any websites carrying COD5 info. COD4 fans already hate it before it’s even had a single review!
They’ve taken out the best bits of COD4 and are offering us a polished COD3 in a different box!
Way to screw things up Activision!!
My stats tell me that I’ve put over 14 days into COD4 online. That’s more than 336 hours. I, and I’m sure most, if not all of the people that I know, will more than likely not be putting a single hour into this shoddy, money grabbing, name pimping version!

You’re wrong.
I was at the Call of Duty event in Covent Garden and here’s a few facts I BET you didn’t know.
- It’s built on the Call of Duty 4 engine, and Infinity Ward has been giving feedback on the game just as Treyarch gave Feedback on COD4.
- It’s the first Treyarch Call Of Duty to have a 2-year development cycle. UNLIKE infinity Ward, Treyarch have had to make games in a year. COD3 they made in 8 months and they practically admitted at the event that COD3 could have been better.
- It features all the stuff from COD4 and more. Including the multiplayer perks, flying shooting levels, harrowing storyline.
- It looks amazing too and plays much more like Modern Warfare than COD3. No shaky shooting, story driven like COD4, COD4 style scenarios and harrowing scenes.
- It features online co-operative AND vehicle based combat.
Ultimately, the game looked just like COD4 it really did. And was so gorgeous and had so many neat new ideas such as co-op and vehicles that the game could prove to better the last game.
