Kwari couldn’t
According to this GI report, Kwari’s closed down. The company was based on the business model of selling ammunition in its own game and encouraging people to bet on matches.
Obviously, it wasn’t the best thought out thing in the world: Kwari only launched at the beginning of this year.

Seems like the sort of thing that would make money if everyone was of a similar level of gaming. And if the actual game is good, of course.
The thing is that some people will never, ever win any money.
Right now I can think of someone on my friends list on COD4 who has a 0.15 win ratio… and he’s played over 1000 games, I think.
I can’t imagine why people would pay money to lose whilst making some hardcore gamer richer…
