Sonic mobile game downloaded 8 million times

According to this GameDaily story, Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog mobile game has now been downloaded 8 million times.

The figure's been reached in the US and Europe since the title launched in 2006.

"Sonic the Hedgehog is a title that resonates with a universal audience of gamers who have grown up with the franchise, as well as with a growing audience of casual players," said Linda Chaplin, vice president of Sega Mobile.

Good for you, Sega.
