UK mag cover confirms BioShock for PS3
Update: Looks definite. Apparently it’s in the next issue of EGM as well.
The next edition of PSM3 is to carry the first screens of the PS3 version of Bioshock, according to this CVG report.
Apparently the mag’s on sale on June 5, and will include a preview of the new SKU.

Heh, nice strapline. I’m sure it won’t be exactly the same game at all. No siree.

Hmm. Very out of the blue, this. Hope they haven’t done a GamePro.

Although if I’m being honest, I didn’t know for definite it was happening.

I wonder what they’ve changed in the meantime? They’ve had ages to tweak it. Unless it took 12 months to make it actually run at more than 1fps.

Percentage chance that PS3 owners won’t know the twist before launch = 0%

I’m playing through Bioshock (on my PC) at the moment and it really is a great game so far. I can’t help but feel the moment may have passed for PS3 owners, though…

I think I must be the only person in the world that didn’t get on with Bioshock. I was bored within five hours.

Fantastic game. I’m guessing the PS3 conversion is so people can see what it looks like with V-Synch tearing and no AA?

btw I know you guys really liked Lost Winds but that poor little chap at the top of the page really doesn’t deserve to be so overused.

Bioshock had a sound narraive, but after not enjoying it as much as everyrone told me I shoul do, I’ve stopped buying and playing FPS’s – I just don’t get them.

Anyway, what happened to Eternal Sonata PS3? I thought that was supposed to be out by now with extra costumes and everything!

I don’t buy print mags any more, I didn’t know they carried age-ratings on them!
As for Bioschlock PS3 – yeah, whatever.
It’s quite possibly the most “put onto a pedestal to prove the worth of games as a narrative medium” white elephant I’ve ever seen.
It was pretty, but it could (and should) have been so much more. I’m sure I’ve ranted at length about the game here before so I’ll spare you the details.

I loved the look of Bioshock but was never convinced about the game itself. I bet I’m the only person here who’s never played it, too.
Go me!

I’ve played the demo, but didn’t buy the game.
I play a lot (understatement) of FPS’s, but this didn’t interest me.

Is it really the best Xbox shooter though?

The best 360 shooter is already available on PS3…
COD4.
