There are nowhere near enough Iranian games websites, so we’re heartened to see these new Mafia II screens on GamersLand.ir. Good for you, Iranian gamer people. We actually had to check where “.ir” was, then. We thought it was Ireland, but the Persian kind of gave it away.
Games’s still a TBA release for PC, PS3 and 360.

Not to be that guy… but in Iran they speak farsi.
Kinda like saying they speak Mexican in the UK. ‘Arab’ is a ethnicity, there is a small % of Arabs in Iran but most are ethnic Persians.
The gov’t is for shit for sure, but no sense in insulting the poor people who live under it.

Sorry, I’ll change it. My Mid-Eastern knowledge isn’t particularly remarkable, as you can see.

Too late, Pat. I’ve emailed the Mail and the Torygraph informing them of this blatant racism!

And I think they speak Spanish in Mexico

Aye, cabron.

yes… jackasses lol- i know they speak spanish– I was being sarcastic. It was one of those ‘it’s just as stupid as saying…’ kind of things.
No big deal, but people from other countries (rightly) get touchy about this sometimes. Esp. when half of us (in the US at least) are itching to start a war with them for some reason. The Arab/Persian thing may seem small– but if only we had paid a bit more attention to a similar ‘detail’ the Sunni/Shiite separation (1000’s of years of hatred/blood) that everyone ignored to help us believe Sadam had anything to do with Osama.
k back to video games… sorry guys
