Xleague.tv turns one

UK games cable channel Xleague has announced its first birthday, claiming it has been viewed by 11 million people in its first year.

More than £100,000 in prizes have been given away on the station since it launched.

“All the team at XLEAGUE.TV are very pleased to be celebrating our first birthday,” said station boss Ray Mia. “Our continued rise in viewing figures and online services is yet another example of our commitment to make XLEAGUE.TV the number one brand in UK gaming. This is another milestone in the rise of the channel and I’m positive our plans for the forthcoming year will see great strides for gaming and the gaming industry.”

XLEAGUE.TV today is proud to celebrate its first birthday.
Since its launch 12 months ago, the channel has been viewed by over 11 million people, has crowned over 50 champions in its leagues and tournaments and has given away over £100,000 in prizes.

Since its inception, the channel has continued to make great strides in gaming. This looks set to continue into its second year with a broader range of new programmes planned, and further developments set for the channel’s website and interactive services.

Ooooh someone sounds a little jealous with a touch of envy perhaps!!!

must be all the cash the channel is making, I mean you can’t run a channel on thin air (not like a website!!) and they are 1yr old, when everyone said they’d be dead in a week (inc me) and anyone who knows the slightest thing about TV knows it costs a fair bit.

Can get dull, but rather it was there than not. At least someone’s having a go.
