Pokemon Platinum announced – first shots

According to this Kotaku piece, Pokemon Platinum has been announced as will release in the autumn.

Apparently it’s just an expansion to Diamond and Pearl, but them’s the breaks. There’s some images over there.

When are they going to do a *new* Pokemon game, I wonder? Instead of just repeating the last one with half a dozen new beasties in it. Again.
