Killer Instinct 3 image from Rare barn?
From the same NeoGaf thread that bought you the Fable 2 screens this morning comes what appears to be proof that the studio’s working on a new Killer Instinct.
The snap was taken by a journalist attending a day at Rare to see the new Viva Pinata title, Trouble in Paradise. The super-secret one that no-one’s supposed to know about until later today.
The next-gen fighter’s been rumoured since before we were born, so don’t wet your pants just yet, but the image after the break clearly makes mention of “KI-3D” and talks about finishing moves and depth of field. Make of it what you will.

killer instinct…?!?!?!?! JAM ROAST!!!
omg i loved KI on the snes! it was sooooooooo awesome. i remember practicing flat out to get orchids maximum combo and none of my mates could touch me on that game. admittedly i played the hell out of it but man it kicked ass!
i just pray they dont ruin it and make it 3D. mortal kombat wasn’t the best fighter with its mechanics but was still damn good fun…until it went 3D :/
2D guys, you know it makes sense.
oh and that link splattered posted- those images still look sweet even today! KI is the man for christ sake. it might even be able to compete with SFIV…possibly.

Those are just promotional CG from KI1 and KI2, there is nothing to bump around with…
