According to German site Sega-magazin.de, Skies of Arcadia 2 will be announced by Sega this year.
No specifics have been given other than that the game will be made for Wii, with a PS3 version also possible.
Expect more details from TGS, apparently.

The ‘Wii’ bit is the best of the news as it might come as the real chance for the title to shine in sales, I don’t get all the negative stigma and lack of maturity some people show towards the Wii, grow already.
