No DS PKE meter in Wii Ghostbusters, says Randel

In an email to videogaming247, Terminal Reality boss Mark Randel said that the DS won’t be used as PKE meter in the Wii version of Ghostbusters as we mistakenly reported yesterday.

“I’m sorry to report that, unfortunately, this is not a feature of the Wii and DS version of the game,” he wrote, smearing egg on our faces. “It would have been really cool though.”

When you’re wrong, you’re wrong, and that’s what we were. Must’ve been all that free drink making us hear stuff.

I never quite understood the point of plugging extra gadgets in to do the job of an on-screen pop-up or menu anyway. They’re always too irritating to use ‘cos you have to look away from the screen to see them. Unless you superglue your DS to the telly.

    “You said WHAT?!”
“I thought we were doing that?”
“No, we said it would be cool but too hard!”
    “But…”
“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, YOU FOOL?!”
    “I…”
“You’re so implementing the Sixaxis stuff now, sonny.”

I’ve noticed you’re doing audio stuff on the site now Pat. You can have the interview if you like, and loop the bit where he talks about the DS as PKE meter, over and over

I’d like that, thanks. I’ll sent it to Randel, over and over. :)
