Fatal Inertia EX to launch on PSN in May

According to this MTV piece, Koei will release Fatal Inertia EX as a PSN exclusive in late May.

It’s going to cost $30 in the US and will never be sold on disc.

“After the launch of the Xbox 360 version, we had a unique situation that allowed us to reflect on what could be done with the PlayStation 3 version,” said lead producer Mike Bond. “But having watched the growth of the PlayStation Network’s user base and the game’s multiplayer component, we felt the strength of this game would be in its online community.”

It just shouldn’t be sold full stop. The X360 version was terrible.

HAHAHAH how fucking DARE they have the bare faced cheek to release that pile of foetid shite on a console due to have Wipeout HD plastered all over it.

That’s hilarious. It’s the equivalent of, say, someone releasing a Grand Theft Auto clone for the 360 or PS3 in August.

I played it for about ten minutes in GAME. It really *was* that bad. I could barely get the ships to turn. Really quite shocking.
