Mature means you have to be over 17.
That’s the thing with the US, they have silly ratings. The next one is R, which is for over 18′s, and pretty much only reserved for things that mention sex anywhere. Which is why the hot coffee stuff was bizarre. The re-rating effectively made it an 18 instead of a 17.
