Motion-sensing 360 controller is codenamed “Newton”

According to 8bitjoystick, the motion-sensing 360 controller MTV reported on a few days ago is currently called Newton. It will, obviously, have a different name when it finally hits retail, supposedly this Christmas.

“The hardware is still being worked on and it might be a couple months before we see leaked shots of prototypes when they start to mass manufacture it, but I am sure that there is an early software developer kit and prototype out there,” said the site.

So there we are.

Well, they brought us a 360-EyeToy that they never really put to good use. Now we get a 360-Sixaxis-thingy.

I’m psyched.

Random_H: Lets not forget the 360-Buzz. (I’m actually really pissed off about that because I like those sorts of games)

Let’s not forget the lack of Buzz for the 360 Buzz. On it’s day of releas my friend rang three stores before he got hold of one that
A) Knew wtf he was talking about and
B) Had ordered some copies for his store
