Rumour: EA buys GTAForums.com

According to this, EA has completed the purchase of a GTA forum network. The rumour goes that EA bought the site – which now sports an EA logo – this weekend for $3.4 million. That story shows what purports to be a letter from the publisher to the webmaster of GTAForums.com saying it’s interested in buying his site. God only knows if this is true. We certainly don’t.

April fools is next week! There’s no way EA would spend $3.4m on a collection of websites and that letter looks fake as hell.
