amBX and Guitar Hero III – video
“Lots of flashing coloured lights and wailing” is probably the best way to describe a movie of amBX playing alongside Guitar Hero III. Not quite sure how this is working on a console – amBX is PC-only at the moment – but we’re sure someone will tell us. See for yourself after the link.
Update: It’s the PC version of GHIII. We knew that. We were just testing.

The whole amBX thing seems like a colossal waste of time to me. Coloured lights and little fans that blow in your face? Do me a lemon.

Well it must have some traction since Rockband are following suit (in a way) with their little stage and smoke kit. Plus there’s a whole growing community of amBX-ers that disagree.http://www.ambx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1539
I was lucky enough to win my kit in the eurogamer comp last year and yes it does add something to the gameplay
