Its more an exercise aid than a console now I was going to get one at launch but slowly I just realised its an incredibly shallow and boring games machine. Full of gimmicky boring games. Not even Mario Kart can convince me to ever buy one now. does any proper gamer really care about Nintendo any more.

Having said that, my sister's getting a Wii for her birthday purely for Wii Fit, so there's one sign of it appealing outside the traditional demographic.
