Secondhand fag smoke may damage Wii lasers

Here. Apparently some of the problems gamers have had running Super Smash Bros. Brawl in the US may have been caused by cigarette smoke clouding Wii’s laser. The Boston Herald offers absolutely no basis for this claim at all, which is nice. We’ll put it under “rumour”.

It’s family console, you see. It even protects members of your family from dying of lung cancer. So now we have to consoles that are good for your health; the PS3 might help finding the cure for cancer and the Wii kills itself to warn you of the potential risks. That is the real next-gen!

I think the guy that wrote that story’s just making it up. He doesn’t say once where he’s got it from.
