Dutch retailer details Euro 360 price cut

According to this, Dutch retailer Bart Smith has seemingly confirmed the rumoured European Xbox 360 price cuts that did the rounds earlier this week.

According to that page, Xbox 360 Elite has dropped from €549.95 to €399.95 , the Pro console (which includes Viva Pinata and Forza Motorsport 2) was lowered from €399.95 to €299.95 while the Arcade bundle is down from €279.95 to €199.95.

These prices are in contradiction to the original story this week, which said €50 would be cut from all SKUs.

At €199.95, the Core pack will be the cheapest current gen console, dropping below the €249.95 it costs to buy a Wii.

Update: The German FT has published a story claiming Microsoft is to drop the console's price tomorrow. All we need now is the press release, announcement fans.
