Apparently these came from "a lunch designed to emulate the literary conversations once held at the Algonquin Hotel by Dorothy Parker". That's not funny, dude.

Meier's top three gaming innovations are:

  • IBM making the PC.
  • The development of Sim City and other games that encouraged construction, rather than just destruction.
  • Nintendo’s Official Seal of Quality, which raised the bar for console games from the 80s onwards.
