Ex-Xbox men announce indie dev contest

Sandy Duncan, former vice president of Xbox Europe, and Michel Cassius, previously senior director of platform and marketing EMEA at Xbox, have announced an indie development cometition through joint venture YoYo Games. The competition, in which winners can pocket up to $1,750, is the second announced by the company, and charges aspiring developers to get busy with YoYo's GameMaker software. This could be the career break you've been looking for, kid in bedroom.

"We see this next competition as an opportunity for the community to flex their programming muscles” said Duncan, YoYo CEO.
